Dr Apurva Prasad is a consultant neurospinal surgeon, specialising in cranivertebral junction surgery, OPLL, complex cervical and lumbar spine surgery and interventional pain procedures. He has 41 peer-reviewed publications and 6 scholarship awards to his name, and has authored 9 chapters in neurosurgical textbooks. 

He has served as faculty for over 38 neurosurgical training workshops and has delivered more than 45 international lectures.

He is an Executive Committee member of the Neuro Spinal Surgeons Association of India (NSSA) and co-editor for the Journal of Spinal Surgery (JOSS). He is also the Board member for International Society of Neurosurgical Technology and Instrument Invention (ISNTii).
